For as long as I can remember, I’ve been building: a family, brands, businesses, garden beds. I grew up riding horses and learning the value of patience, grit, and paying close attention. And somewhere between designing logos and digging into the earth, I discovered that great brands, like gardens, thrive when they’re rooted in something real.

For years, I ran a studio called LMC Agency. It served us well. But as our work grew deeper, more holistic and transformational, I felt the name no longer fit. We weren’t just executing marketing tactics, we were helping businesses find clarity, elevate their identity, and show up with confidence in the market. I wanted a name that reflected that evolution. A name that carried light, meaning, and movement. And also a subtle nod to my Italian heritage that has shaped who I am today.

And so began the search for a new name. It wasn’t just about finding new letters, it was about defining the experience we wanted to create and embody. To get there, I rolled up my sleeves and dug into my history and hopes, imagining what could come next. Lucera means “to bring light,” and to me that’s what brand marketing should do—illuminate who you are, where you’re going, and how to connect with the people who matter most.
